Wonderful Nigerian Cocoa Bean and Raffia Traditional Waist Rattles

We sell mostly Djembes and natural drums from Gambia by the ocean (Senegal), and they are incredible!   We now have our new shipment in !!    We found natural items to accompany Djembes in performances or drum circles, and think you will love them.   We now offer these extra items from Ghana, Gold Coast and Nigeria as well as our traditional items from The Senegal.

These Nigerian Cocoa bean and Raffia (palm fibre) are the traditional waist or ankle rattles.   . This is a traditional rattle found throught West Africa.  Many of them on dancers is a incredible sound heard thru many drums even!  Using them allows freedom of hand and arms for other shakers or drums or whatever...

This auction is for the belt or waist rattle set.    The ankle/wrist rattles shown at the top of the picture are on a different auction.
