This drum is carved from one piece of dark hard wood (Teak or Mahogany or IronWood)   and is rubbed and stained into a very beautiful piece, then carved with traditional decorations and restained.    The head is Goat Skin and has interesting natural patterns for you to enjoy.      The rings are all wrapped and tied.   This is a heavy duty drum of heavy wood, not a light weight or lathe carved imitation.

  This drum normally sells for $100 or $125 more than the Ghana and Gambian drums.   (Due to extra Freight and superior craftsmanship)  .   Natural hand made.
